Local Bonds, not Distant Bondage There is plenty of money available to run your school with local funds. Sometimes, it may just have to be found. In some cases, schools may need a local bond or private financing effort. At least one organization is willing to raise private funds to help with this, with 100% of funds raised going directly to classrooms, scholarships and school sites. And in many cases, schools can spend less and achieve good results. Quality education has little to do with money--our grandparents learned with pencils and chalkboards and they learned well. Local bonds or funding will permit parents and community leaders better local control--and empower local and state education administrators to JUST SAY NO to the federal money and its many strings and hoops to jump through. JUST SAY NO to any state bonds. It’s YOUR money. Keep it local. We’ll help. The closer the watch we can keep on those spending our money, the more careful they will be and the better the results for kids. Imagine--guaranteed equal or better job security and insurance, less paperwork and better education for kids. Oh, and merit pay too.
