Are you evil to own a iPod or nice car or home?  Are you evil to achieve a higher income than your neighbor?  Should lazy neighbors on your street get a big share of your take-home pay?   Of course not!   But like it or not, the lazy and the undocumented among us right now DO get benefits from your gross income, thanks to meddling politicians who consider the Constitution and Tax Codes to be Living Documents and the difference between your net and gross their money with which to buy votes!  Worse yet..

...do you actually own what you think you own?  Or are you paying rent on something you’ve allowed bureaucrats to stake claims against, such as property taxes on your home even if it’s 100% paid off? 

Some that believe most property and income taxes should be abolished and that most politicians should be non-career volunteers with day jobs--many people serving short terms--to help prevent corruption and make sure that every new law applies personally to the lawmakers, not just the rest of us.  Here is an interesting quote, from a fascinating and informative discussion (click below to read the whole thing):

Bottom line is this:  While both Republicans and Democrats have let the American People down, it’s the hard-core Democrats who are ALWAYS on the wrong side of the issues that impact working Americans like teachers and the families of the students we teach. Look at which party dominates Congress, which just gave away a FORTUNE to fat-cat cronies both (D) and (R).  And which party is consistently against domestic drilling--which means you have spend hundreds, maybe thousands of extra dollars on gasoline alone.

Tally up the votes, you’ll see what I mean.

 If in doubt in any election, vote Republican, at least in this election.  That may change in coming years, we’ll have to wait and see.
