Lesson Plan -- This Is Not Democracy

The United States is NOT a democracy.

Be HONEST.

Be ACCURATE.

There are three words NOT anywhere in the U.S. Constitution.  Not mentioned anywhere within it:

1) democracy

2) democratic

3) democrat

This nation is a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC.  It’s a more sophisticated and better form of government.

Correct carelessness and ignorance about this.  And beware the agenda of those who are not careless or ignorant and yet call this country a democracy--they do not have your best interests at heart.
