Line-Item ADA

Average Daily Attendance has become the real Gold Standard by which most everything else is evaluated.  ADA seems even to override student achievement at times.

ADA monies have long been paid out--by the hundreds of millions of dollars nationally every year--based merely on the number of warm bodies in the classroom.  Nose count...roll sheets...funds! Voila! Easy money.

It’s time for a little better accountability.  We’ll be discussing this in more detail soon.
