Stop the Bullying!

From a blog:  ...I just finished reading a news report detailing how a 51 year old woman was beaten to death by two teens for an X Box game system. I wish I could say that I just can’t imagine how two people one 14 years old and the other 15 could do this but I honestly am not surprised...having worked with teens for almost 13 years now...I see teens daily in my role as a public high school official who have no idea what it means to show respect for others. Now some may say the lack of respect for human life the two teens showed in the X Box beating is a long way from say showing disrespect by cursing out ones parents or teachers but I beg to differ, it is not that far off.... link

It’s time for teachers to stop the bullying--and stop being bullied.

Bullying is abusive, selfish, mean, degrading and an abuse of civil rights.  When a pack of bullies picks on a child it often involves power, turf and money.  When a pack of bullies picks on a whole society it often involves power, turf, money and the ACLU.

It's time that majority rule and the will of the people be reinstated over the screams of the bullying minority.

The bullies in your classroom just might tend to be the shooters or bombers on your campus--the carjackers in the malls where you shop--the rapists in your neighborhoods--and the freeloaders ahead of you in the Emergency Room when you're having a heart attack.  Who will fight for their freedoms?  The ACLU.  But how about your family?  Your liberty is denied if your school and streets aren’t safe.

Who doesn’t want you to have genuine power and authority in your classroom right now?  The NEA and its affiliates.  Frazzled teachers want smaller classes.  Smaller classes mean more teachers.  More teachers mean more coerced union dues...power, turf and money.  Warm bodies in the classroom mean maximum ADA money to the district, which is one big reason disruptive kids are sent back to your classroom--and why ‘on-campus suspensions’ are so common.  Keep that kid on campus to keep the money coming in, no matter what the kid does or how little the kid learns is all too often the unwritten policy.  All too often--but not always.  There are some WONDERFUL administrators who run a tight ship.  We need more of them and more good teachers.  Merit pay, anyone?

Your teacher’s union is among the bullies.  You can beat the bully once and for all.  Plans are being made to vote out the bullying teacher unions in forced-union states.  Get more information by joining our mailing list now.

It takes no real courage to trash a classroom or do evil to benign, good people.  It does takes courage and--let’s call it what it is--a desire for survival--to stand up against those bent on evil.  It is indeed a matter of survival.  You are the Establishment, the authority figure to the adolescents in your community.  You’d better be a force for good and not just a silent figurehead, for the sake of your students, for your own sake and for the literal safety of your family.  Progressives = Soft on Crime = Unsafe Streets.
