The more trouble you have with discipline--and the more problems you experience with children from other cultures who refuse to show respect during the Pledge of Allegiance--and to you, refuse to work hard, refuse to learn English, the more you need to ask yourself if the ‘Progressive’ agenda that’s been pushed so hard the past 40 years is making teaching--and therefore, society--better or worse. The more the ‘system’ seeks more A.D.A. money from any source--including the children of criminal aliens--the more you will pay in taxes and in intangible costs of quality of life on and off campus. And the more the social engineers promise free healthcare, school lunches and driver’s licenses in exchange for votes, the more you and your family will be exposed to tuberculosis, bedbugs, graffiti and anchor babies. This election is pivotal. A line must be drawn. The pendulum must swing back toward reason and sense and respect for law and order. Don’t vote in people who are going to make it much more liberal--liberal is not what helps you maintain classroom order and increase student learning and raise your own quality of life. In California the NEA affiliate CTA just gave a $1 Million donation to defeat Proposition 8. The CTA is attempting to thwart the will of the people and destroy marriage. As a teacher, are you going to do what’s right and get the word out--or will you stand by silently as a serf or accomplice while your union ‘representatives’ do things in lockstep with the ACLU and others that seek to destroy families and our entire decent social order? Are you going to believe the teacher unions about ANYTHING, or your own lying eyes and ears? HINT: Trust your eyes, ears and conscience. Your union is your worst enemy.
